Lighting Repairs Planned This Week on I-95 South in Philadelphia

03/25/2024

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that lighting repairs will take place this week on southbound Interstate 95 in Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

Tuesday, March 26, through Thursday, March 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a left lane closure will be in place on southbound I-95 between the Betsy Ross Bridge (Exit 26) and Allegheny Avenue (Exit 25) interchanges.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

This work is part of PennDOT's $268 million I-95 Section BS2 project to reconstruct I-95 between Carver and Margaret streets and improve the Bridge Street Interchange.
