​PECO Utility Improvements Scheduled on Several State Highways Across the Philadelphia Region

​King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on several state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

Bucks County
  • Monday, April 8, through Friday, May 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday closure is scheduled on Court Street between Main Street and Clinton Street in Doylestown Borough. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Main Street, Business U.S. 202 (Oakland Avenue), and Business U.S. 202 (Clinton Street). 
Chester County
  • Monday, April 1, through Friday, May 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 113 (Bridge Street) between Hall Street and Taylor Alley in Phoenixville Borough. 
  • Monday, April 1, through Friday, May 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Sanatoga Road at the intersection with Old Schuylkill Road in East Coventry Township. 
Delaware County
  • Monday, April 1, through Tuesday, April 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Dutton Mill Road at the intersection with Old Middletown Road in Middletown Township. 
Montgomery County
  • Wednesday, April 3, through Tuesday, April 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 463 (Forty Foot Road) between Koffel Road and Towamencin Avenue in Hatfield and Towamencin townships.  
  • Thursday, April 4, through Tuesday, April 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 202 (Markley Street) between Brown Street and Roberts Street in Norristown Borough. 
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.  

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
