PECO Utility Improvements Scheduled on Several State Highways Across the Philadelphia Region

​King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on several state highways in Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

Chester County
  • Monday, April 15, through Friday, May 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Devon State Road between Spencer Road and Forest Hills Circle in Easttown Township. 
Delaware County
  • Monday, April 15, through Tuesday, December 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled in both directions on Macdade Boulevard between Macdade Mall Boulevard and South Avenue in Glenolden Borough. 
Montgomery County
  • Monday, April 15, through Friday, May 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 238 (Spring Mill Road) between Wrenfield Road and County Line Road in Lower Merion Township. 
  • Wednesday, April 17, through Thursday, October 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Township Line Road at the intersection with Summit Avenue in Jenkintown Borough. 
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.  

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
