04/24/2024

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that resurfacing operations are planned on Geigel Hill Road in Tinicum Township, under a $9.4 million contract to repair and resurface seven state roadways in Bucks County.

Motorists are advised of the following traffic restriction:

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Under this pavement improvement project, PennDOT will mill and resurface 25 miles of state highways in Bucks County using bituminous material. The new pavement will seal the roadways and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface.

Blooming Glen Contractors, Inc. of Perkasie, Bucks County, is the general contractor on this project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
