Stormwater Replacement Planned on U.S 202 (Wilmington Pike) South in Chadds Ford, Concord Townships

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that stormwater replacement is planned on southbound U.S. 202 (Wilmington Pike) in Chadds Ford and Concord townships, Delaware County, under a $14.9 million project to improve stormwater management and facilities on more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.

Highway Materials, Inc of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on this project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
