Overhead Sign Removal Scheduled Tonight on I-95 North in Northeast Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that overhead sign removal will take place tonight, May 7, on northbound Interstate 95 in Northeast Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. This operation is weather dependent.

The core borings are part of PennDOT's $268 million I-95 Section BS2 project to reconstruct I-95 between Carver an Margaret streets and improve the Bridge Street Interchange.
