King of Prussia PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that bridge inspections are scheduled on Interstate 95 and several other state highways in Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

• Monday, May 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a left lane closure is scheduled on southbound I-95 at the Bartram Avenue/Essington Avenue Interchange.
• Tuesday, May 21, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on westbound I-676 between the I-95 and I-76 interchanges.
• Wednesday, May 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on the westbound deck of the Spring Garden Street bridge between the I-76 Interchange and Art Museum Drive.
• Wednesday, May 22, and Thursday, May 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a left lane closure is scheduled on northbound I-95 between the I-76 West/Valley Forge and the Route 611 (Broad Street) interchanges.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

The inspections are part of PennDOT's program to inspect bridges at least once every two years. The inspections ensure the safety and overall condition of the structures.
