The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is presently developing plans for a project to replace the Route 928 (South Big Cove Tannery Road) Bridge in Ayr Township, Fulton County.

The project will include replacement of the existing single span, reinforced concrete deck, steel I-beam structure along with minor roadway approach work. A 19.4-mile detour using Route 522 (Great Cove Road), Route 2005 (Timber Ridge Road) and Route 2002 (Tollgate Ridge Road) is proposed during construction.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project. Representatives from PennDOT will be available to answer questions and receive comments regarding the project. The comments of all individuals, groups or organizations are welcome. Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area should attend the meeting.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 26, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ayr Township Municipal Building, 5844 Cito Road, McConnellsburg, PA 17233.
