The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is developing plans for the Route 422 (Cardiff Road) Intersection Improvement project located in Blacklick Township, Cambria County. A public meeting and plans display for those who are interested can learn about and discuss the project is scheduled for November 14, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Blacklick Township Municipal Building, 138 Duman Road, Belsano, PA 15922.

The scope of the project involves widening of the existing roadway and adding left turn lanes along with additional safety measures. During construction, current plans are for traffic to use two different detours to allow the contractor full access to the area.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project. Representatives from PennDOT will be available to answer questions and receive comments regarding the project. The comments of all individuals, groups or organizations are welcome. Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area should attend the meeting.

The meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities. Anyone having special needs or requiring special aid is asked to contact the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation prior to the meeting.
