Lottsville Niobe Bridge location map.pngProject Overview

This is a project to repair the bridge that carries Lottsville Niobe Road over Mill Creek in Freehold Township, Warren County.

The bridge is located on Lottsville Niobe Road (Route 4015) near the intersection with Huntley Road (Route 4007).

The project includes the replacement of the upper portion of the existing bridge. Work will also include minor paving near the bridge and updates to drainage and roadway shoulders. No right-of-way acquisition anticipated.

Work is expected to occur in the 2025 construction season.

The existing concrete adjacent box beam bridge was built in 1987. It is classified as poor condition. Approximately 200 vehicles a day use the bridge, on average.

This project is funded at least in part by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL).

Traffic Impacts

A detour will be required during construction and is expected to be in place for approximately four months.

The proposed detour route has been updated since the initial public comment period. The current proposal is a 5.1-mile detour route that will be posted using Stillwater Road and Huntley Road.
