The project includes the replacement of the existing bridge that carries State Route 54 (Continental Boulevard) over Stony Brook in Derry Township, Montour County. The existing bridge is proposed to be replaced with a reinforced concrete box culvert, and the project will include minor adjustments to the approach roadway pavement, and installation of guide rail at the structure location. Traffic will be maintained during construction along State Route 54 by constructing a two-lane temporary roadway along the eastern side of the roadway. Both State Route 3010 (Stecker Mill Road) and local roadway (Hillside Road or T-384) are proposed to be temporarily detoured during construction.
