Strickler Road Bridge Spanning Route 283 in Lancaster County is Closed Due to Vehicle Strike

​Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Strickler Road (Route 4045) bridge spanning Route 283 in Rapho Township, Lancaster County is closed to traffic due to a vehicle strike. Following an inspection of the damage, it was determined the bridge will be closed until further notice.

A detour is in place using Route 772 (Mount Joy Road), Breneman Road and Zink Road.

PennDOT currently is working on a repair plan and will provide updates once a repair schedule is available.
