Bridge on Cider Mill Road (Route 1013) in Lancaster County Closed Due to Vehicle Strike

Traffic to be detoured until damage can be repaired

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Cider Mill Road (Route 1013) covered bridge spanning the Conestoga River in West Earl Township, Lancaster County, is closed due to a vehicle strike. The bridge is located on the north side of the intersection with Covered Bridge Road.

A detour is in place using Farmersville Road (Route 1010), Route 322 and Pleasant Valley Road. 

PennDOT is developing a repair plan. The bridge will remain closed until further notice.
