Community Advisory Committee

A Community Advisory Committee (CAC) was formed early in 2003 as part of the project. The purpose of the CAC is to provide an additional method of communication between PennDOT, MDOT SHA, FHWA, and the local communities, and to provide input into project development. The CAC serves as an advisory group to the project team to ensure that local interests and concerns are considered in a timely manner.

The CAC was reconvened on November 3, 2021, and the team plans to hold periodic meetings with the group throughout the project development process.

The CAC consists of 26 members and provides representation from the following organizations:
