​Clearfield, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced plans to close a bridge along Smokey Hollow Road (Route 3018) in Tuscarora Township, Juniata County on Tuesday, May 28. PennDOT Juniata County Maintenance forces will complete a bridge restoration project on a structure spanning Union Run approximately a mile northeast of East Waterford that will improve its condition rating from poor to good.

While the bridge is closed, traffic will follow a detour using Middle Road (Route 850) and Tuscarora Valley Road (Route 75). PennDOT anticipates reopening the bridge in late July. All work is weather dependent.
