Sign Structures Work Begins Next Week on CSVT Northern Section

Montoursville, PA – A project to erect overhead sign structures on the Northern Section of the Central Susquehanna Valley Transportation (CSVT) in Northumberland and Snyder Counties is set to begin next week. This work will take place on the Route 147 CSVT River Bridge and along the Winfield interchange.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) contactor, New Enterprise Stone and Lime will work during both daylight and nighttime hours with lane closures beginning Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Motorists travelling between 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM may also experience 15-minute traffic stoppages.

Motorists are urged to watch for changing traffic patterns and drive with caution in the area. This sign structure project is expected to be completed in mid-May 2023.
