​Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that Route 45 (Main Street) will be closed next week in Montandon, West Chillisquaque Township, Northumberland County, for emergency repairs to the railroad tracks.

On Monday, November 6, 2023, through Friday, November 10, 2023, Main Street will be closed between Railroad Street and Atlantic Avenue, while Norfolk Southern performs emergency repairs on the railroad tracks crossing the roadway.

A detour using Route 147, Ridge Road, and Route 405 will be in place while work is being performed.  Work will be performed between the hours of 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM, weather permitting. 

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
