Bridge Preservation Project Continues this Weekend on Lewisburg River Bridge

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised a bridge preservation project will continue on Route 45 in West Chillisquaque Township, Northumberland County and Lewisburg Borough, Union County.

The contractor, RAM Services of Michigan, will be patching the deck and waterproofing the barriers on the bridge over the Susquehanna River between Lewisburg and Montandon.  Work will be performed from Friday, April 5, 2024, from approximately 8 PM until Monday, April 8, 2024, approximately 6 AM.

Route 45 westbound traffic (Montandon to Lewisburg) will be detoured from Route 45 to Route 405 north to Route 642 West to Route 15 South back to Route 45.  The detour will be in effect Friday night through Monday morning.
