​Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be performing patching next week on Route 642 in Valley and Liberty townships and Route 1006 (Preserve Road) in Anthony Township, Montour County.​

Monday, April 29, 2024 and Tuesday, April 30, 2023

• Lane restriction on Route 642 (Danville Road) between Route 2007 (Columbia Hill) and Welliver Road in Valley Township.
• Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flagging.
  

Wednesday, May 1, 2024

• Lane restriction on Route 642 (Liberty Valley Drive) between Center Road and Route 45 (Purple Heart Highway) in Liberty Township.
• Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flagging.
  

Thursday, May 2, 2024 and Friday, May 3, 2024

• Road closure on Route 1006 (Preserve Road) between Route 54 (Continental Boulevard) and Route 1002 (Strawberry Ridge Road) in Anthony Township.
• A detour using Route 54, Route 44, and Strawberry Ridge Road will be in place while work is being performed.
  

Work will be performed during daylight hours, weather permitting. Motorists should be alert, slow down, and expect delays in travel.
