Resurfacing Project to Begin Next Week on Route 11 in the Town of Bloomsburg and Montour Township, Columbia County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that overnight lane restrictions will begin next week on Route 11 in the Town of Bloomsburg and Route 11 Montour Township, Columbia County, for a roadway resurfacing project.

On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, the contractor, Vestal Asphalt, Inc., will begin pavement repairs on Route 11 (Main Street / Montour Boulevard) between Catherine Street and West Fort McClure Boulevard in preparation for a future microsurfacing application. Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flagging where work is being performed.  Work will be performed Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

Vestal Asphalt, Inc., is the prime contractor for this $1.9 million resurfacing project on Route 11 between East Street in the Town of Bloomsburg and the Montour County line in Montour Township. Work on this project includes pavement repairs, removal of the pavement markings, applying a microsurface layer, and application of line painting. Work on this project is expected to be completed in the fall of 2024.
