Ramp Closures Planned for Route 11 (North Scranton Expressway) in Lackawanna County

Dunmore, PA – The following ramps will be closed intermittently on Route 11 (North Scranton Expressway) from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM from Monday, August 14, 2023, through Friday, August 18, 2023, to perform milling and filling work:

  • Keyser Avenue on and off ramps Route 11 (North Scranton Expressway) in Scranton;
  • Main Avenue on and off ramps Route 11 (North Scranton Expressway) in Scranton; and
  • Providence Road on and off ramps Route 11 (North Scranton Expressway) in Scranton.

All work is weather dependent. Motorists are encouraged to take an alternate route if possible.

When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
