Sign Structure Work Today on NB Route 11/15 Ramp to SB I-81 in Cumberland County

Structure damaged last night by vehicle strike

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a contractor will temporarily remove an overhead sign structure this afternoon on the northbound Route 11/15 ramp to southbound Interstate 81 in East Pennsboro Township, Cumberland County. The structure was damaged last night by a vehicle strike.

Work is expected to begin this afternoon. Motorists may encounter traffic shifts and brief stoppages on the ramp while the work is being performed.

Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the workers.
