Pipe Replacement Scheduled on Elizabethtown Road (Route 4008) in Rapho Township, Lancaster County

​Road to be closed Nov. 8-Dec. 12

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a department force maintenance crew in Lancaster County is scheduled to begin a large pipe replacement project on Elizabethtown Road (Route 4008) between Shumaker Road and Horn Road in Rapho Township. Elizabethtown Road will be closed to through traffic during this work.

Weather permitting, work will begin at approximately 7:00 AM Wednesday, November 8. Elizabethtown Road will be closed until Tuesday, December 12. 

A detour will be in place using Colebrook Road, Cider Press Road, and Route 72.
