Next Week Route 30 (Wrights Ferry) Bridge Inspection Over the Susquehanna River Between York and Lancaster Counties

​Traffic restrictions from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on weekdays

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a bridge inspection is scheduled to begin next week on the Route 30 (Wrights Ferry) Bridge spanning the Susquehanna River between Hellam Township in York County and Columbia Borough in Lancaster County. 

Weather permitting, there will be daytime lane restrictions on the Route 30 Wrights Ferry bridge from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Tuesday, November 7, and Wednesday, November 8.

Traffic will be restricted in one direction at a time. Work will begin in the eastbound (York County to Lancaster County) direction, then move to the westbound (Lancaster County to York County) direction. The right lane and shoulder will be closed during this inspection.

Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the inspection crews.
