​ Pipe Replacement Monday on Route 216 (Seaks Run Road) in Springfield Township, York County

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PennDOT maintenance crew in York County is scheduled to replace a pipe next Monday on Route 216 (Seaks Run Road) in Springfield Township, York County. The pipe is located on Seaks Run Road just west of the Interstate 83 Exit 8 Interchange. 

Weather permitting, work will be performed from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday, March 18. 

A short-term detour will be in place. 

Traffic on the east side of the closure should take I-83 north to Exit 10 (Loganville), North Street (Route 3100) west to Route 214 east, to Route 3001 (Main Street/Susquehanna Trail) south to Route 216 east and Seaks Run Road. 

Traffic on the west side of the closure should take Route 216 west to Route 3001 (Main Street/Susquehanna Trail) north, to Route 214 west, to North Street east to I-83, then I-83 south to Exit 8.

Tuesday, March 19, is the designated rain date or this work.
