Bridge Replacement Project to Begin on Milton Grove Road (Route 4033) in Mount Joy and Rapho Townships, Lancaster County

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a bridge replacement project is scheduled to begin on Milton Grove Road (Route 4033) in Lancaster County. The bridge spans Little Chiques Creek between Hossler Road in Rapho Township and Meadow View Road in Mount Joy Township.

Weather permitting, the bridge will be closed Monday, April 15. 

A detour will be in place using Mount Pleasant Road, Grandview Road, Valley View Road and Milton Grove Road.

This project consists of structure replacement, minor approach work, and guide rail updates.

Work is expected to be completed by November 1, 2024.

Susquehanna Valley Construction Corporation of New Cumberland, PA, is the contractor on this $2,381,250 project.
