Lane Restriction in Place on NB I-81 in Cumberland County; Deteriorated pavement at Conodoguinet Creek bridge between Exits 52 and 57 to be repaired

​Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a lane restriction is in place on northbound Interstate 81 between Exit 52 (Route 11) and Exit 57 (Route 114/Mechanicsburg) in Cumberland County. The right lane and shoulder of northbound I-81 is closed due to deteriorated pavement at the bridge spanning Conodoguinet Creek in Silver Spring Township.

A contractor is being mobilized to repair the pavement. This traffic restriction is expected to remain in place overnight and into tomorrow (Sunday). Repairs are expected to be completed and the lane open by early Sunday afternoon.

Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the area.
