Pipe Replacement Scheduled on May Post Office Road (Route 2015) in Lancaster County

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a PennDOT maintenance crew in Lancaster County is scheduled to replace a pipe on May Post Office Road (Route 2015) in Strasburg Township. The pipe is located just south of the bridge spanning Little Beaver Creek between Shaub Road and Sawmill Road.

Weather permitting, work will begin at 6:30 AM Monday, June 10. May Post Office Road will be closed to through traffic between Shaub Road and Sawmill Road. A detour will be in place using Sawmill Road, Weaver Road, Bunker Hill Road and Shaub Road. 

Access will be maintained to all residences on May Post Office Road. 

Work is expected to be completed and the road open to traffic by Tuesday, June 18.
