​Dunmore, PA – There is temporarily a detour on Route 247 in Jessup Borough, Lackawanna County for road repairs. The detour will take place Today, May 8, 2024, through Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 6:00 PM.

• Head Northwest on Church Street towards Erie Street
• Turn Right onto Erie Street
• Turn Right onto Hill Street
• Turn Right onto Grassy Island Avenue
• Turn Right onto Church

 

 
When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
